Privacy overview

CostlyHabits is an informational website about habits, wellness, routines, productivity, lifestyle, and budgeting. This page explains how visitor information may be handled when people browse the site, use forms, or interact with future advertising features.

Visitors should not submit sensitive medical, financial, emergency, or highly personal information through contact forms, resource forms, or email.

Analytics use

CostlyHabits uses privacy-conscious analytics, including Vercel Web Analytics, to understand page views, site performance, and general browsing patterns. Analytics are used to improve articles, tools, navigation, and reader experience.

Analytics information should not be used to make medical, financial, or other sensitive decisions about visitors.

Contact form submissions

The normal Contact form is for general messages, corrections, support, contributor inquiries, and advertising inquiries. Contact messages are separate from the resource request form.

Contact form submissions should not be sold or shared with lead partners. If visitors need privacy, removal, or unsubscribe help, they can email hello@costlyhabit.com.

Lead capture submissions

The resource request form may collect name, email, location, interest category, budget range, message, source page, site key, timestamp, and basic request metadata.

Lead form submissions may be forwarded through a configured webhook or form provider only when the submission workflow is enabled. The resource form is separate from the general Contact form.

Consent and partner sharing

Marketing email consent is required before the site sends resource-related emails from the lead capture form.

Partner sharing is controlled by a separate optional checkbox. Information should only be shared with selected partners when the visitor clearly agrees to that separate partner-sharing consent.

A normal Contact form message should not be treated as partner-sharing consent.

Advertising partners and cookies

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, limit repeated ads, and help keep ads relevant.

Google's advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites. Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on visitor choices, site settings, and legal requirements.

Visitors may manage ad personalization through Google ad settings or similar controls provided by advertising partners. Where required, additional consent tooling may be used before personalized ads are served.

User choices

Visitors can send privacy questions, removal requests, or unsubscribe requests to hello@costlyhabit.com.

This page may be updated as CostlyHabits adds new features, advertising partners, or consent tools.
